Longevity Medications

No pill makes you immortal. The right ones, supervised, can move the odds.

A small set of prescription medications, used thoughtfully and often off label, is being studied for its potential to reduce disease risk and support a longer healthspan. The internet will sell them to you with a quiz. We practice medicine: labs first, indication second, and a prescription only when it earns its place.

01The decision

Labs first. Prescriptions second.

Every candidate therapy starts from your own data: the comprehensive baseline of 440+ biomarkers and functional measures behind the Methuselah Protocol™, your history, your goals, and your tolerance for the unknown. Then an explicit conversation about evidence, what is proven, what is promising, and what is not. Only after that does anything get prescribed.

Indication
Testosterone replacement is prescribed only for documented deficiency with a clinical indication, never as a blanket treatment. Every medication enters your plan for a reason we can name: a marker to move, a risk to lower, a goal your labs make concrete.
Monitoring
Every prescription comes with defined follow-up labs and check-ins, so effect and safety are observed, not assumed.
Deprescribing
If a therapy stops earning its place, we take it away. Subtraction is a clinical skill too.
02The categories

What these medications are, plainly.

What follows is education, not a prescription: category-level descriptions of the therapies longevity medicine talks about most. Whether any of them belongs in your plan is a clinical decision we make together, with your labs on the table.

Rapamycin (sirolimus)
An mTOR pathway inhibitor from transplant medicine, studied for its effects on cell growth signaling and on aging biology in animal models. Used off label in longevity practice, and only with careful screening and supervision.
GLP-1 and dual agonists
Semaglutide and tirzepatide, incretin therapies born in diabetes care and approved for the treatment of obesity, with profound effects on metabolic health and cardiometabolic risk.
Metformin
A first-line diabetes medication with a long safety record. It improves insulin sensitivity and lowers hepatic glucose production, and it is studied for broader roles in healthy aging.
Senolytics
An investigational class designed to clear senescent cells, the aged cells that accumulate and drive inflammation. Early science that we track closely and describe honestly.
Non-prescription compounds
A crowded universe of supplements where quality and honesty vary wildly. We do the vetting, ingredients, sourcing, and evidence, so your plan never rests on marketing.
The outcomes registry
A HIPAA-compliant registry monitors safety and results across the Methuselah Protocol™. Any use for scientific study or publishing is entirely at each patient's discretion.
03Access

The hardest part is often the pharmacy. We handle it.

Sourcing longevity medications is a maze of compounders, questionable vendors, and insurance paperwork. We help patients navigate it for both prescription and non-prescription options. When coverage is realistic, our team assists with prior authorization paperwork and appeals. When it is not, we point you to legitimate, fairly priced sources instead of gray-market gambles.
